About lit4health
Twenty-five years of practice, one clear purpose
For a quarter century I have sat across from people trying to make sense of what they were told about their bodies. Many left the room with a diagnosis but not much understanding of it.
lit4health exists to close that gap. It is a place to read physician-written explanations that begin with what matters most and leave you better equipped to ask good questions and decide with confidence.
Our standards
Built for health literacy, not promotion
Every article is written to improve understanding. We define terms when they first appear, explain the reasoning behind a recommendation, and separate what is well established from what remains uncertain. We do not sell products or services, and we avoid promises of guaranteed outcomes or miracle cures. The aim is to help you interpret health information for yourself.
Health decisions are personal, so no single article replaces a conversation with your own clinician. What we offer is a clearer starting point: plain language, honest context, and the questions worth asking next.
